Land Rover insist the auto box is 'filled for life' at the factory! However commonly from any time after about 50k miles these vehicles start to exhibit various issues with the auto box, these usually manifest themselves as a 'juddering' when accelerating at about 2000 rpm under load, poor upshifting and quite often harsh downshifts with a 'bang' into the lower gear.
